8th Annual Matador Ranch Science and Land Management Symposium
June 13, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
On behalf of the staff at The Nature Conservancy’s Matador Ranch, I would like to invite you to the 8th Annual Matador Ranch Science and Land Management Symposium.
The symposium will be held on Wednesday, June 13th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, at the Matador Ranch.
The symposium is an opportunity to engage researchers and land managers (private landowners, agency, and non-profit). Presentations are focused on current or recently completed research, land management tools and innovations, and opportunities for cooperation between conservation and ranching communities in the grasslands and sagebrush steppe in the northern Great Plains and beyond.
The day will include about six presentations, 20 to 30 minutes in length, in the morning and a more in-depth series of presentations and discussion in the afternoon.
Lunch will be provided. Please let Jolynn Messerly at jmesserly@tnc.org your availability to join us or not, so that we can plan appropriately for food and follow-up correspondence. If you know of others that would be interested, feel free to forward this to them, but request that they connect with me so I can include them in follow-up emails.
