CMR Community Working Group Meeting

June 26, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Landowners – come join us to see how conservation can work for you??

June 26, 2018
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Flatwillow Hall
Winnett, Montana

Join us for lunch and a discussion on conservation programs and how you can put them to work for your family ranch or farm. Guest speakers will describe the grassland  bird Candidate Conservation Agreements with Assurances (CCAA’s) and ranchers will describe their experiences with the CCAA for arctic grayling in the Big Hole. Learn more about the Mitigation Program and habitat credits for sage grouse habitat through the Montana Sage Grouse Habitat Conservation Program, as well as NRCS and MT FWP programs for rangeland and habitat improvement. The meeting will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and to provide feedback on the application of these conservation programs in your area.  Learn how these conservation options can help you navigate the challenges of generational transition, uncertain weather, rising land prices, and community sustainability.

If you can’t make it to the partner reports in the morning please come at 11:30 for lunch and  work sessions in the afternoon.
